Critiques
The
purpose of the critiques is to read papers critically.
You
are requested to answer to the items below to each paper with a couple of
paragraphs.
1. What is
the major point of the paper?
2. What is
the significance of the paper?
3. Can you
or experienced trainee reproduce the result?
4. What is
the weak point of the paper? Can it be improved by some experiment or
additional description?
5. Grade
the paper from 1 (worst) to 5 (best).
Write
answers to 1 to 5 in A4 one page with your number and name on it, and send it
to hiroshi.watanabe@waseda.jp
Title of e-mail should be “MDS-Critiques.” E-mail address of
students should be the formal Waseda’s.
Deadline: two or three weeks after the hand out.
